Lemonade, action, size depends on space, 2024.

The work "Lemonade" was presented at the final critique session of my graduate studies. Facing the imminent departure from school, I realized how deeply I cherished the surrounding environment. During that period, I contemplated how to respond to these feelings.

On the other hand, having experienced numerous critique sessions—often serious, rushed, and stiflingly hot—I wanted to create an occasion to ease that atmosphere, even to shift the focus onto another subject, momentarily dissolving that power dynamic.

For this piece, my initial intention was simply to find an excuse to chat with classmates: to visit their studios and share homemade lemonade, talking about its taste—sweet and sour.

It became a way to contemplate the end of a journey, the "fruits" of labor; to think about color, shape, and flavor; and to consider how to externalize this internal experience.

The lemonade offered on-site had several variations in taste, concocted through discussions with classmates. Tasting became an encounter with unexpected differences, while also potentially sparking conversations about the future—raising our glasses and tasting together.
